How to Start the Best Fire Around

I think this is the best page that I have written. It will show you how to make a good fire, even if you have never made one without the fireplace gas. It shows you step by step, from the wood shavings to a roaring fire, using different methods, based on the type of fire you want. It is in an easy to read format with pictures to help you understand what we are talking about. If you want to light a fire (without matches) (coming soon)check out that page. So check this page out, how to start a fire

How to Find North Without a Compass

This page will show you how to find north (without a compass). This is a very useful camping skill if you are lost, can't find your compass or GPS, and is just cool to know how to do.

The first technique is using a stick to find north. You just wait fifteen minutes and mark where the shadow has changed. The second is to use the stars, explained with a diagram. If you can find the big dipper, you can find the north star. The third is to use your watch. It is easier with a anolog watch than with a digital one, but is still possible, you just have to get creative.

Another way is to find north
